When Swan Beauty Studio turned 1 year !!!

 Hello Beauties,
It was a blessed rainy day on July 1st 2014 when our studio turned one year old, which was also the day our June delegate for Swan Beauty Academy had their practical examination.
Even though I have been in the makeup industry for about 8years now, Swan Beauty started officially as a business in 2012 and on July 1st 2013, we started up our studio situated at number 15, Akinsemoyin Street, Off Bode Thomas, Surulere Lagos.
Swan Beauty is one of the top makeup companies in Nigeria with a vision to be the preferred makeup company both locally and internationally. The company possesses the expertise of intelligent team of artists and tutors headed by the smart and creative Funmilayo Omosewa Okubanjo.....me, assisted by two zealous and wonderful ladies - Precious Patience Ajiehi and Olaogoyemi Bukola.
Swan Beauty is passionate about offering professional services in makeup artistry and empowering anyone who has a zeal to start up a career in makeup and helping them through through the whole processes from starting out until they can stand on their own.

Here are some pictures for you to see...

Myself and the youngest team member - Seyi

Well, I love to look good. On my face I experimented with NYC mineral powder, eyeshadow dust and mineral powder blush..... I like it, but it has a bit of luminous effect.

Mummy D's finished look, isn't she gorgeous?

Detola's finished look,  I love the colour play of gold, purple and red.

And Mabel went all out in accentuating her look by adorning her model with pretty Benin beads.
So lovely.

Mummy D's 2nd work, a party look.
Her smile!

Mabels's 2nd work, Party look with the rose red gele.
This lady's high arched brows..... Wow!

Detola's 2nd work, bridal look, simple and nice.

I'll say well done ladies, a few corrections here and there though, but it is a better way to start. And having done so much, I still say that there is no end to learning. new trends and techniques are coming up daily, so keep up with what is happening in this fast growing Makeup industry.

Our very own Bukola. I always tease her that she's Tiwa Savage's look alike... do we share the same view?
A big shout out to one of our Facebook fans Lauren who took her time to be present for the event. She got her own free makeover in smokey eyes and I'm sure she visited the photo studio that day *winks*

Thank you dear Wura for showing up, you are very much appreciated.

 Happy Birthday Swan Beauty Studio!!!!!!
